Our Project

BACK TO SCHOOL

  • Salam e-initiative started in 2003 with 2 centers. As of Dec 2016, we have established 23 centers nationwide with 2 refurbishment centers and one applied ICT training center. 

MY OLE-OLE

  • My Ole-Ole is our food bank program for the needy families, homes, disaster relief. We collect food items from public through hypermarkets and distribute them through our network of volunteers, especially during local festivities.

ENTREPRENEURIAL DEV. TRAINNING

  • Offer short training courses in ICT, design and garment making, graphic, computer aided embroidery and business skill. We coach the trainees to become entrepreneurs.

DISASTER RILIEF

  • For more then 10 years we have been conducting motivation camps for school students at primary and secondary schools. Our motivation camps not only targeted the students, but also the parents and teachers. Our ration of 1 facilitator to 5 trainees and post camp follow up by facilitators are the main success factors. These camps benefitted more than one thousand students per year.

ACCESS @ SSBLIND

  • Access @ SSBlind ICT training center is for visually impaired and blind. Funded by Local bank, the center is jointly run by Sarawak Society for the Blind. Many
    ‘graduates’ has been employed by state agencies and private companies

WORK CAMPS

  • Work camps organize in Malaysia for volunteers from Malaysia, Asian countries, America and European countries in these 1 to 2 weeks work camps. Volunteers stay and work in community, beside talks and discussion on issues relating to voluntarism.
