Suri @ Salam established and it SALAM joint community project organized by the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council since 2009. The focus of this project is the women who need it and are around Kuala Lumpur and Selangor especially in Chow Kit area and its surroundings. Is a volunteer initiative greetings to collect dry food and durable for distribution to marginalized communities and victims of natural disasters in Malaysia. Participating in an international short term volunteer project ( so called Workcamp ) can be an exciting prospect. It is an interesting and meaningful way to travel with purpose.

Salam e-Initiative Work Camp Salam Qurban Akikah
Is a computer centers are established in low-income and under privillaged communities such as Pre-School Children, Primary School Childre, Secondary School Students, School Leaving and Unemployed Youth, Housewise, Single Mother and Individual Interested in Doing Business. Our work camp was created to inculcate awareness on volunteerism among youths. We provide promotion, registration, training, placements and monitoring of volunteers in various local and international short-term humanitarian projects. The youths who participate in our work camps will be able to enhance their knowledge and skills on volunteerism as well as network for future projects. The program, conducted since 2007 has been well received since it was introduced. Yayasan Salam Malaysia strives to make the program Qurban, Akikah and waqf of the mosque as an annual program. Pusat Penjagaan Baitul Amal & Taska Baitul Amal Women Up Skill Project (Hulu Langat)  
 
—Taska Baitul Amal will create a child friendly environment for children by providing programs that are suitable for all the ages of children, regardless of their religion, race, ethnicity, economic status and citizenship of a child.
The project has served to empower women to improve their skills and earn extra income. In addition, he also managed to engage and optimize local talent and build teamwork in the producing of pastry-based products.
